As a medical doctor I have three decades of experience practicing in traditional medicine as an Ob/Gyn and a Psychiatrist, which contributes to my unique approach to Intuitive Health Coaching.

I have degrees in Biochemistry from Barnard College of Columbia University and a medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I completed not just one but two medical residencies: one in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and a second in Psychiatry (with Cognitive Behavioral and Psychotherapy training) at St Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals in New York. After residency, I did additional training in cutting-edge modalities of hypnosis, hypnotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Geo Love Healing, an energy healing modality pioneered by Oliver Nino, The Spiritual Activator.

My comprehensive work with clients was further enhanced when I discovered the work of the Medical Medium in 2019. Applying this information to myself first and then to my clients, I began to see remarkable results. I now take a Medical Medium-informed approach to healing, and help my clients bridge the gap between conventional medicine and holistic well-being. 

I am licensed as a medical doctor in multiple states, including New York, Illinois, and Florida. Yet I now work virtually with clients all around the world through my health coaching practice, healingwithJoyClark.com. I am especially sought out for my expertise in mystery illnesses, hard to treat conditions, as well as holistic coaching for people who want to use natural solutions to heal.
